Libertad Promo Poster Has Arrived
March 26, 2008 by pablo · Leave a Comment
Thanks for the design prowess of Mrs. Jeni Stewart, I’m proud to announce the final version of our Official Promotion Poster. This image for me really captures the essence of Libertad. In the center is a young boy coming off a mound of garbage, the pole he uses to sift through the waste slung over his shoulder. Behind him is a brilliant array of colors and illuminating bars. To my eye these two images together really serve to speak to the hope that prevails in Libertad even among the harshest enviornments.
Should you want a version of the poster to help us promote Liberatd, please contact us.
Finally, thank you Jeni. Your willingness to pitch in and help inspires all of us to keep fighting the good fight and press on!

For those of you that watched my first film, the feature Runnin’ at Midnite, you might remember the characters talking about “Los Olvidados (The Forgotten Ones) by Luis Buñuel. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a rather remarkable film about some wayward youth in mid-century Mexico City. Read more
