Been bullshittin but I finally arrived with it - I know it’s late and I took all year - you can stop complainin cause I’m finally here.

In about two hours we’ll be launching our very first Project Libertad event. It’s been a few years coming, but like Kanye West wrote, I’m finally here and ready to present this amazing project to the people of Tucson, Arizona. And what is really special is the crew that has come together to make this happen. My good friend Brian Mazon from Papagayos, for hooking up a first class meal for all our guest - my cousin Michael for foregoing this thousand dollar appearance fee to play guitar - Joan and Bob for hosting the reception at their breathtaking house - and on and on. It’s just great to see everyone stepping up the plate.
And if you aren’t in Arizona and couldn’t make it, don’t worry. The Los Angeles and New York events are right around the corner, and if you are in Arizona and aren’t here, well, shame on you - but we’ll be posting pictures and videos on Monday of the event, so don’t sweat it. We still got love for ya’.
Okay, I’m off to the event. It’s not everyday that you get a chance, as a filmmaker and educator, to have a captive (and hopefully tipsy) audience to talk with about your ideas and inspirations. This truly is a humbling experience and I”m so glad to be able to share it with all of you.
